Carrie Ngongo Biography

Carrie Ngongo works as a Project Manager on the USAID-funded Fistula Care Plus Project, to strengthen health system capacity for fistula prevention, detection, treatment and reintegration in Sub-Saharan Africa and south Asia. Before joining EngenderHealth in 2008, Carrie worked with the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention to coordinate an infection prevention initiative in Kenya’s provincial hospitals and served as a Peace Corps volunteer in Guinea. Her master’s degree from the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health focused on international health systems.
