Mariela Rodriguez, MA, is a research associate with the Futures Group in Washington, DC. She is a member of the team that developed the Voluntary Family Planning Programs that Respect, Protect and Fulfill Human Rights: A Conceptual Framework, Conceptual Framework User’s Guide, and Review of Evidence. Mariela works on family planning and sexual, reproductive, maternal, and health policy issues. Prior to working at the Futures Group, Mariela worked on the Global Health Advocacy and Policy Project at American University, Center for Health and Gender Equity (CHANGE), and CARE International. She received her master’s in global health, gender, and human rights from American University’s School of International Service.
