Banchiamlack Dessalegn is a Senior Technical Advisor for Monitoring, Evaluation and Research for FHI360’s USAID-funded PROGRESS project, providing technical assistance to the Ethiopian Federal Ministry of Health’s family planning initiatives. She received her B.S. from Pennsylvania State University and an M.A. and Ph.D. from Johns Hopkins University. She was a post-doctoral researcher and lecturer at the University of Chicago before joining the Population Council’s Ethiopia office.
